HYW Archer Conversions III (Free Salute Model )

Here are the completed HYW Perry Archer Conversions, for many of which I have used parts of the Salute Archer designed by Alan Perry.

They're at this moment drying after having been given and undercoat and will be ready for paint tomorrow. i hope to make a start on them tomorrow but I've got six archers nocking, drawing and loosing to start first.

Archer about to Loose:

Archer Resting Hand on Stake:

Archer Blowing the Note to Prepare for Melee:

Archer Reaching for Axe in Stake:

Archer with Maul Gathering His Courage:

Archer with Sword and Buckler (not a conversion):

Archer Attacking with Maul:

Erm..... Stakes!

    1. Yeah, I've still got two plastic Salute models left, one will become another bearer of the Banner of St George and the other? Well, you'll have to wait and see. At present I'm trying to get the first lot of conversions completed and trying to ignore that I have a bad dose of flu!

  2. Very nice archer conversions, great to see the figures preparing for melee, they would add awesome detail and character to the gaming table. Looking forward to seeing them painted up.

    1. Thanks Michael.

I reckon they're going to be my favourits to paint up as they will look good on the table top and make a real change from the normal stance of Longbowmen.
